There were some honorable descendants and grandchildren, who have been religious leaders, in the progeny of Himmani Afwah, among whom there have been prominent poets, orators and scholars. The famous family of Qazwini skillful in literature, knowledge and virtue, and who live in Iraq’s cities, originates from Himmani Afwah.

1- The period of the caliphate of Mu’tamid was during the years 265 and 279 A.H. but the word <Sett> (six), which has been mentioned in the text, has been abstracted from one of the written issues of Muruj al-Zahab. It is the correction form of the word <Sattin> (sixty), which has been mentioned as the death date of the poet, not his father, by Mas’udi.
