Detailed Answer:
Ibn Khallakān has mentioned the following in regards to Imam al-Sadiq (‘a): “Imam Jaʿfar al-Sadiq is the sixth Imam from the Imams of the Ahl al-Bayt. He was known as al-Sadiq due to his extraordinary truthfulness. His virtue is much greater than can simply be mentioned. He was born in the year 80 Hijrī and he passed away in the year 148. He was buried in the cemetery of Baqīʿ alongside his father Muhammad al-Baqir, his grandfather Zayn al-ʿĀbidīn, and his uncle Hasan ibn ‘Ali (may God be pleased with them all). May God give him the reward of goodness; he has a blessed and most noble grave.”[1][2]
